Flyout: Sandown - May 2013

Clear skies and bright sunshine greeted us for our fly-out to Sandown on the Isle of Wight on May 18th this year.
Good flying and some fantastic scenery made this a great experience for pilots and passengers alike. G-BTSJ our PA28 piloted by Mona, Lyn and Tony and Moreno, Lothar and Lizzy in his Socata TB9 arrived for a well deserved lunch of bacon sandwiches before returning to Newquay. Thanks to Moreno for lunch. The rest of us seemed to have "forgotten our money!"
Sandown was a bustling, friendly airfield and the approach onto the grass landing strip a first and exciting experience for Mona and Moreno.
We are all looking forward to our next fly-out scheduled for July.
