GASCo Safety Evening 2024

Thursday 25th April 2024, 19:30

This year, Flynqy Pilot Training and Perranporth Flying Club will be hosting a GASCo Safety Evening on Thursday 25th April 2024 at 1930. This event is open to all pilots and student pilots across Devon and Cornwall.

This year's event will focus on Flight Planning, Threat and Error Management, Cognitive Bias, Managing Partial Power Loss and Electronic Conspicuity. So, after a long winter of storms, why not join us and get yourself ready and refreshed for the 2024 flying season!

The evening is designed to provide an opportunity to reflect on General Aviation safety as it affects you, the people you fly with, and your clubs and associations. It will be given by a GASCo Regional Safety Officer (RSO).

We hope that by the end of the evening you have identified some ideas you can build on to make your flying even safer and that you will feel able to share your thoughts with other audience members. The GASCo Regional Safety Officers are all volunteers and active GA pilots in their own right. They aim to facilitate a practical, thought-provoking and enjoyable exchange of views on improving flight safety. They will share some of the latest information together with their thoughts and ideas with you during the evening.

The evening will be held at the Perranporth Memorial Hall.
