  1. Eligibility: This Campaign is open only to those who are over 14 years of age and living in the United Kingdom. You must have a parent or guardians’ permission to enter if under the age of 18. You must have taken part in a Flight Experience at Flynqy Pilot Training (as a pilot or passenger or spectator) to be eligible to take part in this competition. You may be asked to verify your flight participation by providing additional details such as the date of the flight, the experience holders name or the flight number so that we can verify that the flight was genuine. The flight in question can be any flight experience taken since the incorporation of Flynqy Pilot Training on 31st October 2011.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant ("You") agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Flynqy Pilot Training as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.
  3. Campaign Period: This competition will run for 12 months, split into four individual twelve-week rounds and a public vote with opening and closing dates as follows. Entries will be accepted online via the specified competition form and must be received within the following entry periods to be eligible for each round:
    • Round 1: Tuesday 31 October 2023 at 00:01 (GMT) and ending Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 23:59 (GMT).
    • Round 2: Wednesday 24th January 2024 at 00:00 (GMT) and ending Tuesday 16th April 2024 at 23:59 (GMT).
    • Round 3: Wednesday 17th April 2024 at 00:00 (GMT) and ending Tuesday 9th July 2024 at 23:59 (GMT).
    • Round 4: Wednesday 10th July 2024 at 00:00 (GMT) and ending Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 23:59 (GMT).
    • Public Vote: Sunday 23rd October 2024 at 1900 (GMT) and ending Sunday 30th October 2024 at 23:59 (GMT)
  4. How to Enter: The Campaign must be entered by entering the competition at https://www.flynqy.co.uk/competition. Entries submitted via Social Media Platforms and email will not be accepted. The entry must fulfil all Campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. You must provide the information requested to complete a valid entry. The Campaign will run for the campaign periods listed in section 3. You may only submit any specific photo once per round, but you may enter as many photos as you like per round and if your entry is not successful you may resubmit the same image in a subsequent round. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices to submit the same photo in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Flynqy Pilot Training.
  5. By entering the competition, you grant Flynqy Pilot Training a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media or social platforms, the images for any purpose to further its aims and objectives. More specifically to use:
    • At events, including exhibiting the images virtually and digitally.
    • On the Flynqy Pilot Training website, Flynqy Pilot Training social media channels, Flying Pilot Training email communications and Flynqy Pilot Training printed materials.
    • In the press for the purposes of publicising this photography competition and the promotion of Flynqy Pilot Training.
    • The organisers will ensure that name credits are given to any photograph published in any medium, but no financial remuneration will be given for reuse of photographs by Flynqy Pilot Training.
  6. Eligibility: Employees, former employees, independent contractors, interns, work experience students, officers, directors, and agents of Flynqy Pilot Training (the "Sponsor") their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the campaign.

  7. Prizes and Winner Selection: Three winners will be selected per 12-week round. The 1st Prize Winner will receive a 30-minute flight experience over Cornwall for one person. The two runners up will receive a Flynqy Pilot Training Goodie Bag each, the contents of which may vary at the discretion of Flynqy Pilot Training.

    After the winners for all four rounds have been selected a final round will be conducted to allocate the final birthday competition prizes. The four 1st Prize Winners of Round 1 to Round 4 will be entered into a public vote, with the publicly selected winner receiving a 3 Hour Starter Package for one person The eight runners up will be judged by Flynqy Pilot Training, with the top two entries receiving a 40 Minute Flight Experience each, for one person.

    All rounds will be judged by Flynqy Pilot Training management and operations staff, who will therefore not have flown with any participants and cannot be biased towards customers they have flown with. Where possible, one guest judge from external organisations may also be used subject to availability during the review and selection period.

    In the interest of fairness, a maximum of one prize can be awarded to any given participant in Rounds 1 - 4. If the same participant is selected twice, then we will redraw the prize winner for that round. The value of the flight experience and starter package prizes is between £120.00 and £765.00. The value of the goodie bag may vary depending on contents. Weight restrictions apply. For the (see above), there is an individual weight limit of 14.5 Stone. Flight Experience vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. The Starter Package voucher will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue. Actual/appraised value may differ at the time of the prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Flynqy Pilot Training. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Flynqy Pilot Training's discretion. The prize can be transferred to another nominated recipient at the time the Winner is notified. After the recipient has been nominated, the voucher is non-transferrable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Flynqy Pilot Training to use the Winner's names, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.

  8. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  9. Winner Notification: Competition winners will be notified via email within seven working days following the selection of the Winners. Winners will be selected within 14 days of the closing date of each round of entries. Flynqy Pilot Training shall have no liability for Winner's failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email or other security settings or for Winner's provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 7 days by notifying Flynqy Pilot Training of the required delivery details for the prize, from the time award notification was sent or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited. Once all winners have accepted their prizes, winners will be publicly announced on social media, via email and on our website as soon as practically possible, but no later then one month after the closure of the round. Receipt by the Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (at Flynqy Pilot Training’s sole discretion) WILL RESULT IN WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS A WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
  10. Rights Granted by You: By uploading your content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that Flynqy Pilot Training, anyone acting on behalf of Flynqy Pilot Training, and Flynqy Pilot Training licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. Without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this content, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship and that you have permission from anyone within the photo to distribute the work, and does not violate any third party's proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Flynqy Pilot Training. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Flynqy Pilot Training from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Flynqy Pilot Training may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party's right.
  11. Terms & Conditions: Flynqy Pilot Training reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Flynqy Pilot Training’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case, Flynqy Pilot Training may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Flynqy Pilot Training. Flynqy Pilot Training reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Flynqy Pilot Training has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Flynqy Pilot Training reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  12. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Flynqy Pilot Training and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant's participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
  13. Disputes: THIS Campaign IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF United Kingdom WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the United Kingdom having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney's fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
  14. The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks that are used to share the Campaign. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of the Campaign and not to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social networks.
  15. The Flight: Upgrades to larger aircraft are not permitted. Flights are subject to suitable weather conditions. The voucher holders are responsible to phone on the day of the flight booking to confirm that weather conditions are suitable for the flight. If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you will be able to re-book. Flights are subject to weather conditions, aircraft serviceability and staff availability. As a result, flights are subject to cancellation at short notice. Flynqy Pilot Training will not be held responsible for the costs of travel, accommodation or any other associated costs should your flight be cancelled. Flynqy Pilot Training reserves the right to refuse entry onto an aircraft to any person that the Instructor, as Captain of the aircraft, deems unfit to fly. Whilst every precaution is taken for passengers' safety, neither the owner/operator can be held liable for loss, damage, or injury that does not result from their negligence. Except in exceptional circumstances, you must give Flynqy Pilot Training 48 hours notice if you intend to cancel your flight. Last minute cancellations, no shows and repeated cancellations may be charged.

  17. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Competition is Plymouth Flying School Limited t/a Flynqy Pilot Training.
