Meteorology for Pilots 2018: Session 1

Saturday 19th May 2018, 13:00

Following on from our previous Met Products session, Flynqy Pilot Training will be hosting a new Meteorology for Pilots short course.

The sessions are designed to improve your fundamental understanding of the weather, as well as helping you to practically apply your knowledge in an aviation environment.

The course will consist of 3 - 4 weekend afternoon sessions, which will be held over the coming months. The first session will be held on Saturday 19th May at 13:00, lasting for approximately 4 hours. This session will cover wind, weather fronts and air masses. We will also look at the effects each of these weather areas has on the aviator and their weather decision making process prior to and during the flight.

There will be a charge of £15 per person for each session and spaces are limited so booking is essential. To book please call us on 01637 861744 or email

The course is open to both students and pilots or anyone with an interest in aviation weather!

We hope to see you there!
