Introductory Flights over Cornwall
Discover the beauty of Cornwall and experience the pleasure of flying in a light aircraft on one of our incredible Introductory Flights! Available in our gorgeous Robin DR400, each flight allows up to two people to experience an aerial tour over Cornwall.
An alternative to our Flight Experience range, our Introductory Flights are perfect for those who just want to sit back, relax and take in the breath-taking views of our stunning coastlines and countryside.
Each Introductory Flight will be flown by one of our qualified Private Pilots, who have undertaken additional training with Flynqy Pilot Training in order to conduct your flight. Although our Introductory Flights allow you to enjoy a wonderful scenic tour, you will not be able to take the controls and fly the plane. If you are purchasing any of our Introductory Flights as a gift, then we will send you a personalised gift voucher for the recipient with the details of their flight. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months. Please note that Introductory Flights can only be flown on selected dates between April and September.
Introductory Flight Routes
Choose from one of five exciting routes, taking in some of Cornwall’s finest locations from the quintessential fishing village of Port Isaac, made famous by the BBC drama Doc Martin, down to the unspoiled cliffs and coastlines of Land’s End and the Lizard Peninsula.
ROUTE: PORT ISAAC
This short hop is perfect for fans of ITV's Doc Martin and those looking to enjoy Cornwall's picturesque Atlantic coastline.
You'll be able to enjoy several of the Duchy's hidden gems including Polzeath, Port Isaac and Padstow, giving you ample opportunity to take photographs of the rugged cliffs, iconic towns and rolling fields. Better yet, for the eagle-eyed amongst you, there is even the opportunity to pick out the many abandoned World War 2 airfields scattered along the route.

ROUTE: FALMOUTH AND MEVAGISSEY
Visit the south coast of Cornwall on this aerial tour to the harbour towns of Falmouth and Mevagissey, taking in some of Cornwall's official Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the way.
For those looking for a change of scenery, this flight is a fantastic way to observe the peaceful Channel coast. You will get a real sense of all three of Cornwall's main industries: farming, fishing, and of course mining. Whilst on route you will see the China Clay pits north of St Austell, the busy port town of Falmouth (Europe's deepest natural port), and the many working farms surrounding the historic city of Truro.

ROUTE: GODREVY AND TRURO
The perfect balance between coastline and town, this route will showcase the variety that Cornwall has to offer - with golden sandy beaches sandwiched between the rugged cliffs and the powerful Atlantic waves.
Overfly Newquay, Perranporth and Godrevy Lighthouse before heading inland to see Cornwall's only city, Truro. This route is ideal for the Poldark fans amongst you, taking in many of the Cornish locations made popular by the hit TV show.

ROUTE: ST IVES AND ST MICHAEL'S MOUNT
Cornwall is famous for its amazing surfing beaches including Watergate Bay, Fistral, Perranporth, Godrevy and Porthmeor - all of which can be seen on this fabulous aerial tour of the North Cornwall Coast.
Fly along the coast to the quintessential Cornish harbour town of St Ives, home of wonderful art galleries such as Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. Then, swap over to the south coast to overfly one of the National Trust's most famous locations, the tidal island of St Michael's Mount, which can be accessed either by boat or at low tide by a man-made causeway.
